The Pho Spot will open soon in Stanley Square, taking over the unit previously occupied by seafood restaurant The Oystercatcher, which closed last month after 18 months in Sale.

The Pho Spot promises a mouthwatering menu featuring charcoal-grilled skewers, Vietnamese rolls, steaming bowls of pho and a selection of noodle and rice dishes. With a focus on authentic Vietnamese street food, it’s set to offer something new to locals and visitors alike.

The eatery is expected to open in early July, with renovation work already well underway. Michael Brown, director of Altered Space, the company leading the regeneration and development of Stanley Square told Life in Sale, "Whilst we were sad to see our friends at Oystercatcher close at Stanley Square, we are equally delighted to announce the arrival of the Pho Spot which will deliver authentic Vietnamese and Asian street food.

"Securing an operator with an established track record in such a short space of time is testament to the growing reputation and appeal of Stanley Square.

"We look forward to having another new and unique offering up and trading and wish them every success for the future. I’m sure they will get the full support of the wider Sale community, which is vital to maintaining a diverse and vibrant town centre."

The arrival of The Pho Spot marks another exciting addition to Stanley Square’s ever-evolving line-up of independent businesses. It follows the recent announcement that Joe & Co Denim, a premium menswear brand, will also be joining the neighbourhood.

The Pho Spot looks set to spice up Sale’s dining scene in all the right ways, we can't wait to visit!
