Women in Sale looking for extra support with perimenopause or menopause symptoms now have a new local option, as The Green Menopause Clinic has opened at 120 Cross Street.
Run by Sale-born GP Dr Nicolle Green (pictured above), the private clinic has recently relocated from Wilmslow to Eyebrow Cottage, home to My Skin Medics.
Dr Green spends much of her working week as an NHS GP in Salford. Alongside this, she runs The Green Menopause Clinic, offering longer, personalised consultations for women who need additional help managing their symptoms.
The clinic could be particularly helpful for women struggling with symptoms such as poor sleep, brain fog, anxiety, mood changes or hot flushes, as well as those who are unsure whether what they're experiencing is connected to perimenopause or menopause.
It's also an option for women who have already sought help but feel they need more time to discuss their symptoms, explore treatment options or review their current menopause care.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Dr Green takes time to understand each woman's symptoms, medical history and concerns before working with them to develop an individual treatment plan.
This might include lifestyle advice, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or other treatment options. Blood tests are also available when needed, although they're not routinely necessary for everyone.
One of the benefits of the clinic is continuity of care, with women seeing Dr Green throughout their consultations and follow-up appointments. Where appropriate and with the patient's permission, she can also work alongside their existing NHS GP to help coordinate treatment.

Appointments are now available face-to-face at the Sale clinic every Thursday, while online consultations are also offered across the UK, with more flexible appointment times.
