Sale-based jewellery designer Emily Fletcher has been named Best Creative Business at the 2026 Female Business Awards.
Emily (pictured above), founder of Emily Lisbeth Jewellery, picked up the national award at a ceremony held at the Victoria & Albert Marriott Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 15 October. Now in their fifth year, the Female Business Awards celebrate the achievements of women running small businesses across the UK, recognising their creativity, innovation and contribution to their industries and communities.
The judging panel assessed nominees on their marketing activity, client testimonials, innovation and passion for their work, with Emily coming out on top in the Best Creative Business category.
Speaking about her win, Emily said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have won Best Creative Business. Running an independent creative business is incredibly rewarding, but it also takes a huge amount of hard work, resilience and belief in what you do. To have that recognised among so many talented women in business means so much to me.”
Emily's approach to jewellery design is all about creating individual, timeless pieces that have a strong connection to the materials and the making process.
She added: “I want each piece to feel special to the person who wears it, rather than simply following a trend. This award is a wonderful encouragement to keep developing my designs and growing the business in a way that stays true to those values.”
