Sale-based financial firm Suttons sees entire adviser team recognised in UK guide
Sale-based Suttons Independent Financial Advisers has seen its entire team of advisers recognised in a major UK guide, with seven experts named in the VouchedFor 2026 Top Rated Financial Adviser Guide.

Five chartered financial planners at the firm – Ben Preston, Richard Higgs, Luke Mather, Chris Pughe and Steven Walker – have all been included, alongside head of mortgage services Ben Horsfield and independent financial adviser Saf Sulehman.
Together, the seven advisers have more than 125 years of financial services experience.
The guide is based on verified client reviews on VouchedFor.co.uk and this is the sixth year in a row that members of the Suttons team have been named as top-rated advisers in the North of England.
Alongside the individual recognition, Suttons has also been named for the third time as a top-rated firm nationally in the category for businesses with fewer than 10 advisers.
The Sale firm, which is based inside Trinity House on Northenden Road, is also in the running for three honours at the VouchedFor Client Experience 2026 Awards. It has been shortlisted in the client experience and client impact categories, while Ben Horsfield is a finalist in the mortgage adviser of the year category. The awards ceremony will take place in London on Thursday 07 May.

Founded in 2006 by Harvey Sutton, the business provides wealth management, tax, pensions and retirement planning advice to a client base that includes professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs, retirees and families. It also advises on mortgages, protection and savings.
Suttons, which has a team of 22 staff, now has more than £330m in assets under management following a mixture of organic growth and acquisitions. It recently completed the acquisition of Wilmslow-based KSP Financial, after buying Bolton firm Whitewell Financial Planning last year.
The 22-strong firm says it is continuing to look for further acquisition opportunities as part of its wider growth plans.
