Save the date: Sale Comic Con to return in 2026
Comic book fans, cosplayers and pop culture lovers can start planning ahead – Sale Comic Con is set to return on Saturday 6 June 2026.
This year’s summer edition will be the third Sale Comic Con, after the event’s debut in 2024 and a second summer return in 2025, both of which brought plenty of buzz (and some seriously impressive costumes) to the town centre.
As in previous years, the event will take place in Stanley Square and will be free to attend, making it one of the most accessible family-friendly pop culture days in the local calendar.
While the full 2026 line-up hasn’t been revealed yet, past editions have set the tone for what visitors can expect. Expect a mix of comic artists, writers, TV guests and traders selling unique merchandise, alongside plenty of photo opportunities and crowd-pleasing sci-fi moments.
If 2026 follows the same winning formula, Stanley Square will once again be packed with fans browsing stalls, snapping selfies with characters and props and soaking up a family-friendly atmosphere that’s helped the event quickly become a Sale favourite.
