PureGym announces opening date for Stanley Square unit

PureGym has confirmed the opening date for its brand-new Sale gym in Stanley Square.

PureGym will open in Stanley Square on Friday 12 December 2025, bringing a brand-new, state-of-the-art fitness hub to the town centre.

We first reported in September that the UK’s largest gym operator was set to move into Stanley Square. The national gym chain has agreed a 15-year lease with asset manager Altered Space and will take over the former Wilko unit in the Square.

Opening offer

To celebrate the opening, PureGym is offering a special opening price of £14.99 per month (usually £25.99), plus a £15 joining fee. Membership includes:
