Bereavement event offers support for Sale residents
Trafford Council is supporting a special bereavement event at Sale Town Hall on Friday (10 October), bringing together residents and professionals to share, learn and connect around the bereavement journey.
The event will feature a panel discussion including representatives from South Manchester Coroners, NHS services, registrars, funeral representativeS and Trafford Bereavement Services. There will also be space for a wide range of local organisations to showcase the support they offer, from legal advice to grief counselling.
Bereavement affects us all at some point, yet it is still a subject many find difficult to talk about. This event is about breaking down barriers, helping people find the right support and enabling professionals to join up services for the benefit of residents.
The Bereavement event falls within Trafford’s Month of Hope and coincides with World Mental Health Day, supporting the Council’s EPIC values – by empowering people and creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
The event will take place at Sale Town Hall on Friday 10 October 2025, 10am to 4pm and is open to all Trafford residents and professionals.
Free drop in event open to all Trafford residents. Talks to take place at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
