Ladybird Travel brings the holiday buzz back to Sale Moor

A much-missed service has returned to Sale Moor, with the arrival of Ladybird Travel Limited on Marsland Road.

The brand new travel agency, located inside Elite Services shop in Regal Buildings, is run by lifelong friends Sam Nickson, Katie Smith and Adam Cowell, who share not only a love for travel but also deep roots in the village. Sam and Katie both grew up in Sale Moor and Sam’s family business, Elite Services, has been part of the local high street for more than four decades. When Elite returned to the village earlier this year, Sam spotted the chance to use the extra space to bring something new – and much-missed – to the area.

“We remembered how exciting it was when our parents and grandparents would book with Salmo Travel,” the team told Life in Sale. “You’d sit down, have a chat and leave with a huge smile knowing you’d just booked something special. We want to bring that feeling back.”
