The Railway pub in Sale is getting ready to welcome customers back after several months of closure, with a reopening party planned for Thursday 22 October.
The Robinsons pub has been given a refresh ahead of its return and will reopen its doors from 4pm, inviting locals to come along for a pint and help raise money for a good cause.
To celebrate the reopening, all cask beers will be available for just £1 a pint from 4-7pm, with proceeds going to a local charity.
The Railway will also be introducing a new drinks selection, including four cask ales and two rotating guest beers, with a focus on offering customers a good choice at affordable prices. Locals are being given a say in which charity benefits from the reopening celebrations.
The pub has launched a 'nominate your cause' appeal on its Facebook page, asking residents to put forward local charities they'd like to see supported. Nominations are open until Sunday 18 October, ahead of the launch event.
The reopening party will take place between 4pm and 7pm on Thursday 22 October.
