The Hub smashes Macmillan Coffee Morning target

The Hub on Dane Road in Sale welcomed the community on Thursday 25 September for a Macmillan Coffee Morning – and raised £150 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Guests enjoyed homemade cakes, with attendees and staff alike getting involved in serving treats and making sure the morning was a success. The total raised smashed the team’s target and will go towards supporting people living with cancer and their families.

The event was also a celebration of The Hub itself – a valued local resource run by Key Care & Support, specialists in person-centred community support for both adults and children with enhanced and individual needs.

The Hub offers day opportunities in Sale, giving people the chance to socialise, learn new skills and take part in a wide variety of activities in a friendly, supportive environment. From creative sessions to community involvement, The Hub is designed to help people live fulfilling lives while feeling connected to their local area.
