Design@Studio17, founded by Sorcha Drakeford, is offering its sustainable Christmas décor and design packages for homes across Manchester, Cheshire and the rest of the UK. Sustainability and wellbeing sit at the heart of Sorcha's work with residential and commercial clients and the festive service has been designed with the same approach in mind.

The packages combine professional interior design advice with handcrafted and sustainable decorations, seasonal foliage and personalised styling, while also supporting the studio's charity partners Standing Tall and The Sorcha Children Foundation.

There are three packages available, depending on how much help customers want with their Christmas decorating.

The Curated Package, starting from £295, is aimed at people who want help finding the right decorative style for their home. Customers can choose from four pre-designed tree décor themes – Nordic Classic, Woodland Wonder, Vintage Moments and Understated Elegance.

Each includes a curated collection of handcrafted and sustainable decorations, ornaments and seasonal foliage, delivered to the home with professional styling and installation advice.

The Virtual Package, starting from £795 excluding décor, offers a more personalised approach. Sorcha works with customers to create a custom festive design, which can incorporate existing decorations and favourite pieces alongside new seasonal elements.

Customers then decorate their own home using the personalised design plan, styling advice and installation notes provided.

For those wanting the full service, the Bespoke Package starts from £1,895 excluding décor and can include everything from Christmas tree decoration and lighting to bespoke floral arrangements and festive tablescapes.

Following an in-depth consultation, Sorcha and her team create the design plan before handling sourcing, styling, installation and set-up. A post-Christmas takedown and storage service can also be included if required.

Sorcha said: “Christmas is a time for celebration and catching up with loved ones, and whilst that is obviously lovely, it can add a little extra workload to those who are hosting at home, so we like to think that not only are we able to take some of that pressure off, but we are able to create an atmosphere that can’t help but get your guests immersed in the Christmas spirit.

“Even better if your festive home has been created with sustainability and charity at its heart. Christmas decor doesn’t have to be excessive and costly to the earth if it is well designed and thoughtfully crafted, and we love to help our clients achieve this.”
