75 Sale businesses join Life in Sale’s 10th anniversary campaign
Seventy-five Sale businesses have signed up to take part in a special town-wide campaign marking 10 years of Life in Sale next month.
Running from late April through to the end of May, the campaign will see independent businesses and local favourites across Sale offer customers a small incentive when they mention ‘Life in Sale’.
The initiative has been created as part of Life in Sale’s 10th-anniversary celebrations, with a clear aim of giving something back to both the local businesses that make the town special and the readers who have supported the platform over the last decade.
Businesses from a wide mix of sectors have joined the campaign, meaning residents can expect a broad range of offers to enjoy throughout May, from shopping and food and drink to beauty, wellbeing and services.
A dedicated online directory featuring all participating businesses and their offers will go live in late April, alongside a special map designed to help people plan their own route around the town and make the most of what is on offer. The idea is to encourage people to explore Sale, try somewhere new, revisit favourite spots and create their own offer trail across the month.

For local readers, the appeal is simple: it is a chance to enjoy as many of the different offers as possible in one month, while supporting the businesses that help shape everyday life in Sale.
With many local businesses facing a tough trading climate at the moment, Life in Sale hopes the campaign will help drive extra footfall, enquiries and bookings, while also acting as a thank you to the readers who have followed, supported and championed the platform over the last 10 years.

Katy Ratican, founder and editor of Life in Sale, said: “I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the response. To have 75 Sale businesses sign up to be part of this has been really special and I’m so grateful to every single one of them for getting involved.
“We know it’s really tough for local businesses right now, so for so many owners to say yes to taking part and put together an offer for customers makes it even more appreciated.
“Since starting Life in Sale in 2016, one of the things I’ve always wanted to do is champion the people behind our local businesses. This campaign feels like a lovely way to celebrate 10 years of Life in Sale by doing something positive that benefits both our readers and the local business community.
“I’m really excited to pull it all together and make May a brilliant month on the Sale calendar!”
Life in Sale newsletter subscribers will be the first to get access to the full offers directory when it launches in late April, ahead of the campaign running throughout May.
