Cheers Sale Beer and Gin Festival 2025 – 2026 date announced

Sale Beer and Gin Festival returned with a bang at the weekend, drawing record crowds and raising a “mind-blowing” amount for local charities.

More than 700 people attended the 2025 charity event at St. Anne’s Church Hall on Trinity Road, with organisers hailing it as the most successful festival yet. The two-day celebration of craft beer, gin, food and community spirit was run by just 15 volunteers from Manchester Round Table, who gave up their own time to plan, coordinate and host the event.

The organiser said that they were “over the moon” to have seen and heard how much everyone enjoyed the event. To raise thousands of pounds in profit – all of which goes directly to local charities – is a massive achievement for the small team.

This year’s festival supported four incredible causes:

  • Derian House, providing care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

  • Rebuilding Lives UK, helping victims of domestic abuse through essential home repairs.

  • Mind, offering vital mental health support.

  • Everyone Can, a Sale-based charity that enriches the lives of disabled young people through technology and play.

With success still fresh, the team has already announced dates for next year’s event: Friday 08 and Saturday 09 May 2026, again at St. Anne’s Church Hall.

The festival is just one of several charity events organised by Manchester Round Table – a local branch of the global voluntary group for men aged 18-45. From bonfire nights to fun runs, the group combines fundraising with a busy social calendar and welcomes new members looking to make lifelong friends while supporting worthy causes.
