PeePS celebrates two years of supporting children and families in Sale

This week marks another proud milestone for Pee Paediatric Services (PeePS), Sale’s only children’s bladder clinic, as it celebrates its second anniversary.

Since opening in September 2023, PeePS has grown into a trusted source of support for families across Trafford, Greater Manchester and beyond, offering expert care for children living with bladder difficulties.

Founded by Cheryl Jennings (pictured above), an experienced clinical nurse practitioner with 25 years in paediatric urology, the clinic remains the only dedicated service of its kind in the Sale and Trafford area. Over the past two years, it has helped countless children aged 5 to 17 overcome challenges such as overactive bladders, bedwetting and daytime wetting – conditions that can be both isolating and misunderstood.

Cheryl told Life in Sale, “Marking two years of PeePS means another year of empowering children to be the boss of their bladder. Every step forward we take with a family means a child can feel more confident, more independent and less held back by their bladder challenges. 

“I look forward to working with and supporting other families in the next 12 months!” 

PeePS offers a full range of services, from initial consultations and assessments to treatment reviews and prescriptions where needed. Beyond medical care, Cheryl places strong emphasis on educating families, building confidence, and encouraging early intervention so that children can thrive without the burden of ongoing bladder issues.

Cheryl remains committed to breaking the stigma around children’s bladder health and hopes that more families will feel empowered to reach out for help, knowing that expert support is available locally.
