Mangiando Calabro brings taste of Calabria to Cross Street

A brand-new Italian food spot has opened its doors in Sale, bringing a slice of southern Italy to Cross Street.

Mangiando Calabro, Sale

Mangiando Calabro, based at 184–186 Cross Street, is now serving freshly made pasta, traditional Italian dishes and Calabrian wines, with options to eat in or take away.

From this week will also welcome diners on Friday and Saturday evenings (5.30pm–9.30pm), offering a menu of authentic plates paired with aperitifs.

What makes Mangiando Calabro stand out is its commitment to provenance – everything on the menu is 100 per cent Italian, sourced directly from Calabria. The team produces their own artisan cheeses, cured meats and stocks a handpicked range of wines from the region.
