New Sale Moor restaurant Kampasi announces opening date
A new family-run small plates restaurant is preparing to open its doors in Sale Moor village next week.
Kampasi Restaurant has announced that it will open on Tuesday 13 January, welcoming its first diners from 5.30pm.
The team says its full menu and booking system are expected to go live this weekend, following a final push behind the scenes to get everything ready for opening night.
Kampasi is moving into the venue previously occupied by Porta 134 Cafe, which closed in November last year. Since taking over the space, the new team has been working on updates to the venue and finalising the menu.
Kampasi will focus on small plates, cocktails and mocktails, with influences of Georgian cuisine and both lunch and evening options planned. Dishes are expected to cover meat, vegetarian and fish choices, with plates including grilled prawns, jerk sea bass and mussels.
On opening, Kampasi will offer a selection of soft drinks and mocktails and will initially operate as a ‘Bring Your Own Bottle’ restaurant, with £5 corkage per table.
We’re looking forward to welcoming them to Sale!
