A LOOK INSIDE: Brewd. Coffee Co, School Road
Sale’s café scene has a new addition – Brewd Coffee Co., recently opened on School Road and already proving popular with locals.
Owned and run by husband-and-wife team Melih and Büşra Erdal, the cafe has received a warm welcome from the community. The couple bring a wealth of hospitality experience, having worked in coffee shops in Turkey and some may also recognise them from their stall at the Makers Market.
At the heart of Brewd is what it does best – freshly brewed coffee, paired with a menu of delicious bagels, focaccia sandwiches, salad bowls, overnight oats and French toast. If you like an all-day brunch spot, this is set to become your new favourite!
Highlights from the current menu include:
Parma Ham, Rocket & Parmesan Focaccia – with Parmigiano Reggiano and extra virgin olive oil.
Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Bagel – a New York-style favourite with Scottish smoked salmon.
Vegan Salad Bowl – packed with falafel, avocado, pumpkin and sesame seeds.
Sticky Banana French Toast – brioche French toast with caramelised banana, toffee sauce and walnut crumble.
There are also plenty of sweet treats and pastries for those just popping in for a coffee.
Brewd Coffee Co. is open 7.30am-5pm, seven days a week, making it perfect for an early morning caffeine fix, a working lunch or a leisurely weekend brunch. The café is also dog-friendly, so four-legged friends are welcome to join.
Behind the counter is a hard-working team of four, bringing a friendly atmosphere that makes the space feel instantly welcoming.
It’s clear that Melih and Büşra have poured their passion into Brewd Coffee Co., not just in the menu, but in creating a café that reflects their love for Sale.
