The Belmore in Sale now serving brunch

Popular local pub The Belmore has announced it is now open for brunch, with a brand-new menu being served daily from 8am.

Ideal for a midweek treat or a lazy weekend start, the menu includes everything from full cooked breakfasts to pancakes, poached eggs and veggie options.

Classic options include the Drayman’s grill (£14.95), a full plate of back bacon, farmhouse sausage, baked beans, mushrooms, roast plum tomato, hash browns and eggs your way — with or without black pudding. Or there's the breakfast bap (£9.95), filled with sausage, bacon, hash brown and a fried egg on sourdough.

Vegetarian and vegan diners are well catered for with the garden breakfast (£11.95), which features vegan sausage, charred peppers, hash brown, mushrooms, tomato and beans. There’s also smashed avocado (£9.95), served on toasted bloomer with poached eggs and mushrooms.

Other highlights include eggsbenedict (£10.95), eggs royale with smoked salmon (£14.95) and even a 6oz grilled rump steak with hash browns and fried eggs (£14.95).

Sweet tooth? The warm pancakes or waffles (£7.45) with maple syrup can be customised with crispy bacon or fresh strawberries. See the full menu:
