Paint Sale Pink returns for 2026 - dates confirmed for May

Sale’s feel-good fundraising campaign Paint Sale Pink is set to return for a fourth year, with organisers confirming it will run from Saturday 09 May to Saturday 23 May.

The two-week campaign sees Sale (along with Ashton on Mersey and Sale Moor) awash with pink-themed windows, products, promotions and community events, all in support of Prevent Breast Cancer.

What is Paint Sale Pink?

Paint Sale Pink is a campaign to encourage individuals, schools and businesses to come together and plan pink-themed activities, from shop window takeovers and cake sales to community events, to raise both awareness and vital funds.

Funds raised support Prevent Breast Cancer, UK’s only charity dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer, with a focus on stopping the disease before it starts through prevention, early diagnosis and awareness.

Previous campaigns have raised thousands of pounds for the charity and the town-wide effort has become a highlight of Sale’s spring calendar.

Local businesses are being encouraged to get involved for 2026, whether that’s going pink in your shop window, running a pink product special, hosting a fundraiser or teaming up with neighbouring businesses for a joint event.
