Local election results 2026 – Who won and lost in Sale, Trafford?

The results of the Trafford Council local elections were announced this evening (Friday 08 May).

The turnout across Trafford was 48.9 per cent, up from 41 per cent in 2024.

Below are the results for the Sale wards.

Winning candidates are shown in bold.

Labour lose six seats but enough to hold a majority in the council.
