Sale bridal boutique to close after 10 years

Sale bridal boutique, Honeyblossom Bridal, will close at the end of the year after a decade in business – but brides-to-be still have time to find their dream dress, with gowns and accessories now reduced.

The boutique on Washway Road will close for the final time on 31 December 2026.

Owner Jenny Au-Wood said rising rent, quieter trading and the wider pressures facing small businesses had made it increasingly difficult to keep the boutique going. The closure is planned and the business is not going into administration. Honeyblossom Bridal has also reassured brides with existing orders that they will receive their dresses and accessories by the end of the year or earlier as arranged.

To mark the final chapter for Honeyblossom Bridal, every wedding dress and bridal accessory is now on sale, with savings of up to 50 per cent.

The boutique’s sample sale rail includes gowns in sizes 10 to 16, giving anyone currently planning a wedding the chance to secure a dress at a reduced price.

New orders can also still be placed on a selection of wedding dresses for the next few weeks, while orders for accessories including veils and hair accessories will remain available until the autumn.

Honeyblossom Bridal operates on an appointment-only basis, with brides given exclusive use of the boutique during their visit. The business has also built up a five-star rating from customers during its time in Sale.

Jenny said, "I'd love to help as many brides as possible find their dress before the boutique closes, whether they choose a discounted sample gown or one of the designs still available to order new – just get in touch!"
