A LOOK INSIDE: Kampasi Restaurant, Sale Moor

Sale Moor’s newest restaurant, Kampasi, opened its doors yesterday (13 January) and we went along to take a look inside this family-run spot in the village.

Owned and run by Laurence and Tapiwa, Kampasi is a cosy, stylish small plates restaurant with a relaxed neighbourhood feel. The menu takes inspiration from global flavours, offering a mix of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, alongside sandwiches, kids’ options and desserts.

There’s a zero-alcohol menu featuring mocktails, soft drinks and freshly made juices – and for those who’d like to bring their own bottle, Kampasi currently operates a BYOB policy with £5 corkage per table.

Open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, Kampasi has already been awarded a food hygiene rating of 5. With friendly service, a selection of delicious-sounding plates and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great new addition to Sale Moor village.
